Olympischer Platz 3 14053 Berlin Germany
Very impressive and well preserved. The historic background of the complex as a whole, is really interesting. From the nearby clocktower you will have a nice view on the stadium .
great place for cup finals. for regular bundesliga games it's just too big. if the weather is nice you can hang out on the lawns in front of the stadium and enjoy a beer in the sun.
Incredibly well kept stadium that is worth visiting. Working the CL final was difficult. Facilities were far apart and in convenient.
Checkout the Glockenturm (Bell Tower) for great views of the Olympic Stadium .
Built for the 1936 Olympic Games, this stadium today regularly hosts a variety of sports and cultural events , including soccer , track & field and concerts .
More than just a football match or a concert , it's a journey through history. Site of the famous 1936 Olympic Games. Jesse Owens!
It's worth popping down here on a non-match day. The visitors centre do tours of the venue in English and German for 15 Euros. Get to see dressing rooms, lounge and training areas.
Arrive at the game earlier enough to hang with the Hertha BSC Super Fans! Buy a scarf . Eat a bratwurst . Drink a beer . Participate in adrenalin-inducing game chanting. Sing when you hear this... Read more
Nice for a day out. The bell tower has an exhibition about the history of the stadium . Also great view of the city
Fantastic ground, you can feel the history dripping from the place.
The two main times that John Preston is overcome by emotion: after meeting the Resistance and seeing Mary incinerated in Equilibrium (2002) were both shot here. For the latter, mock steps were built.
yes you can tour the stadium which is the home of our football club HERTHA BERLIN and also event location for concerts and other sports events
The Olympic Stadium in Berlin is home the home stadium of Hertha Berlin , and has a historical neoclassical architecture . Catch the games here, but check their website first for the game schedules.
Huge soccer stadium I've seen! Must watch place in Berlin
Built for the 1936 Olympic Games. A spidery web of glass, steel and fibre-glass membrane, it beautifully softens the monumental bulk of Werner March’s original coliseum-like structure .
Take the guided tour ! Gives you a great background behind the history of this stadium .
Checkout the green pitch :) best there with the S-Bahn if not than U-Bahn. Be there 1h before or 5 minutes before. This way you avoid the queues
Very much food& beer stands. I never had to wait in line . Lots of (clean ) toilets . Even when someone threw up in there, it was cleaned within moments
The new Olympiastadion in Berlin has the highest all-seated capacity in Germany at 74,228. It hosted the World Cup Final 2006 with Italy beating France in penalties.
Really nicely organized football games, went everything really smoothly. From getting the tickets til leaving the area with s bahn.
Superb stadium , great atmosphere, easy to get to and home to Hertha BSC
Sport fans at IFA, this iconic stadium was built in 1936 and is less than 10 minute drive from the Messe… one to see if you have some time out!
Modern stadium in a historical place. You can feel both spirit of the 1936 Olympiad and 2006 World Cup
The German Soccer Cup Final is staged here every year.
Home of Berlin's biggest football club Hertha BSC. Beautiful stadium , great atmosphere. Also venue for track & field meetings.
In one word... Awesome... Hi there to see the local heroes of Hertha BSC
definitely one of most impressive stadiums I have ever been in
Place full of history, must visit in Berlin.(Owens,Bolt,Italy)
Take the U2 from Alexanderplatz. Stadium doesn't take cards - make sure to take cash.
The most beautiful soccer stadium I've seen! The place have a lot of stories and is wonderful to watch some games. The beer is delicious and there, the people sell currywurst and shinitzels! Read more
A stunning venue. But watch out for arsehole drivers - they are everywhere.
Huge stadium with a lot of history. Acoustics for music concerts isn't very good.
Great stadium with decent transport links and concourse facilities. Free travel on Berlin's public transport on matchday
Built by nazis and I still feel uncomfortable going there. It's an all seater stadium and wasn't built for football . The athletic track and the flat stands guarantee a poor sight.
That's England 8-3 Germany (on aggregate) after two visits to Berlin... Can't wait for the next one! ⚽️ ????
Awesome stadium with atmosphere to remember!
Nice place, but if you're here is difficult find your right place.
My experience was that the organisation when we tried to get in was really bad. It is a decent stadium but I do not like it when there are running lanes separating fans & the pitch.
There is a weekly guided tour in english every Saturday at 12:30
There are several running events which finish in the stadium .
Beautiful stadium !! #herthabsc
The home of Hertha Berlin football club and the venue for the 2006 World Cup final , where a certain Mr Zidane lost his head…literally...
Amazing venue for sport and concerts
Come and watch some Bundesliga football .
The stadium is pretty nice. The crowd are crazy good and loud . But it was freezing cold
Take a careful look at one of the Bears ... ;)
The Olimpic history carved in stone. Keep going Jesse Owens!!
The home of Hertha BSC . Wear blue and white!
2014/15 UEFA Champions League Final : Barcelona 3 -1 Juventus
Great stadium for athletics, not made for football .
Going to the stadium in Germany is always nice. Easy transport, safe all the way, nice street food and cold beer. Hertha is a mess of a team, not inspiring at all, but a visit is always worth. - Vangelis Koukidis
it's big, not very steep and pretty far from the pitch. hard to coordinate support for the away team. - Kris Tin
Wonderful ground, great atmosphere and plenty of character. Superb place to watch football. - Michael Holdsworth
Old school football ground that has seen better days. BFC Dynamo plays some of his matches here. - Marc UKG
Home of Lichtenberg 47 who play in the Oberliga (5th division). Small and pretty rundown, but charismatic stadium. Bring an umbrella if it's raining since there is no roof. - Marc UKG
Beautiful palace! Some rooms are just amazing, like the porcelain cabinet and others. The fee for photos is totally worth it. Also the Day Pass is a good choice. - Bianca Pericolo
