Mama Lu's Dumpling House

It’s way better than Din Tai Fung . The juicy pork dumpling is delicious and the price is unbelievable cheap . A must try signature dish when you come here. Better come early to avoid the long line .

Great food all around. Everything we had so far has been great. They seem to be busy no matter what time we come.

Best xlb in Monterey park. Good wrappers, good soup (volume and flavor), nice filling. Love coming here and then getting a bag to go.

The beef noodle soup is the best. The pork dumplings are excellent. Great services. My family, my friends and I are dining here all the time.

The XLB, green onion pancake and kung pao chicken were all great. 20 min wait on a Tuesday night. Def busy and service is lacking but food more than makes up for it.

Shanghai cuisine so everything is sweet. Surprisingly, the spicy oil dumpling were not sweet. Very good value for the price though it's not exactly the best.

The xiao long baos here are great. The crab ones are popular. Also the green onion pancake is good. The nian gao is not good

The dumplings are great. You can buy a bag of 50 frozen ones for $12. Delicious!

Their dumplings are really good and they're really cheap too. i also enjoy their noodles with teh minched meat the noodles are chewy in a good way.

French style beef tenderloin is the best!

Thin-skinned, soup-filled xiao long bao without the long wait of Din Tai Fung , whose Arcadia location is (let's face it) not as good as Taiwan's anyway.

Their Xiao Long Bao is not bad, but the best in my opinion is still Joe's Shanghai in NYC. Bar Shanghai, China.

XLB are a given.. But Mama Lu's Fried Pancake ALSO FTW. So good. Sliced up and sauteed fried pancake w/ pork . So good!

Great dumplings , solid food. Speaks both Cantonese and mandarin.

The food is good, not the waiter . Waiter expect use to clear an area on the table for him to put the down food. I said no, it is your job. The service not change from last visit. Not going any sooner.

Buy the 50 piece frozen juicy pork dumplings . It's a really good deal that you can enjoy at home!

One bowl of white rice here is enough for 2 people. Be aware of how hungry you are before you order!

The XLB and the second variation are the stand out choices. Their beef wrap is also decent.

Even though the dumpling was good, service was bad. Long wait on Sunday night. Chef special mushroom beef was lame. Don't think any of chef special is their specialties

Avoid their booths with the wicker seats . They are pretty uncomfortable. Food is delicious though.

The XLB and scallion pancake are good but I've had better. Massive line with poor management.
