Delicious frozen drinks are rivaled only by the BEST hushpuppies on the entire island . Great outdoor bar atmosphere and great staff . Indoor option as well .

The atmosphere here is unreal. Very relaxed, fun, excellent staff , very welcoming! I had the catch of the day, swordfish sandwich , blackened, and it was phenomenal!

Start with calamari , but ask for the very spicy sauce on the side. Crab cake sandwich or catch of the day are good entree options. Several choices on the kids menu . Try shrimp or fish nuggets.

Asked about the crab cakes , turns out the chef is from Maryland. They were amazing. Sub hush puppies for the mashed potatoes , veggies are good. Kids fish nuggets were surprisingly good as well .

The hush puppies are delicious. The prime burger basket also got rave reviews from my family. The seafood is always good. Definitely a must for a trip to Hilton Head!

The Crab cake sandwich was awesome! And serving size is good too! Its a little bit bland for me but the sauce and a little bit of salt makes up for it!

This is not a moderately cheap restaurant . Dinner for 2 cost us $60. If you want cheap go to Kiwi 's Cookout or Landing's End. The atmosphere of the entire area is great and so is the food!

Awesome happy hour , 4 dollar beer on tap and free popcorn from 4-7pm at the outdoor bar ! Try the salty dog lager and the hush puppies with hot sauce ! A local favorite spot for sure

It gets very busy during peak hours. My family and I (party of 11) went Saturday around 1 and got seated right away. It was a good time because most people were just getting to or leaving HHI.

Once you pay the $1.25 at the toll booth be prepared to pay $6.00 for all day access to the restaurant area. Hush puppies are good outside cook a little done.

This place is infamous. You have to visit the T-Shirt Factory . The food is expensive and the wait can be LONG, but there's entertainment to help. The wait is so worth it!! Get the hush puppies too!

SUPER friendly staff ! Try to sit outside if you can, if not sit near the windows when you can see the sunset . Everything on the menu is great :)

Great place for hanging around after dinner . The dock & shops were good and there was music on the deck. The restaurant was adequate. Very well marketed , which lends to an easy let down.

The new batter is awesome! Try the fresh fish bites as an appetizer . Ours was fresh Mahi Mahi and even my finicky daughters wanted more!

Find The Wreck of the Salty Dog. Full menu, same as the cafe , with shorter waits and 2 full bars , try the key lime pie . Enjoy the view .

Fish po boy sandwich had very little fish on a hogie roll I give it 6 out of 10 nothing special . Got a side of fruit that I had to send back , I replaced it with cole slaw and that was very good.

I had the pulled pork sandwich . It was very good, but a bit boring. It was an ok experience until we got the bill. It was outrageous. The place is way overrated, overpriced, and overcrowded.

A MUST stop on your vacation to the island . Make sure u save room for a slice of pizza at Jake's. Get a shirt from the factory , you'll b surprised how many ppl comment on it who's been!

Super cool area and shops! Would have loved to eat here but after arriving at 8:00 there was still a 3 hour wait! Maybe next time.

Everything is good, but dining and drinking outside on the deck is fantastic.

Wow, the butter for the hush puppies is awesome. Who was the genius to first whip sugar into butter? A man who deserves a medal.

Bulgarian server was lovely. However like a lot of other American water focused places, it was tacky and the food was rather average. Wouldn't recommend. However the service was lovely

Outdoor seating is a great scene. Be sure to check out the local shops as well .

Burgers and Hush Puppies are amazing

Hush puppies are good outside cook a little done and the chicken salad sandwich was off the chain.

Food is average for the price, what you really pay for is atmosphere. Lowcountry boil was sub-par with rubbery unflavored shrimp . Calamari was good. I recommend getting appetizers and just hanging out

Quite touristy and food is just OK. But fun atmosphere on the water and with music . Some staff were very friendly some were not.

I had the grilled chicken and it was really good and well priced.

Kiwi colada is amazing! Seafood pasta is delicious but the crab cake sandwich is the best bang for your buck! Get here at 4 to avoid an hour plus wait

The Wreck of the salty dog and salty dog Café have the exact same menus, personally I prefer the wreck of the salty dog for better outdoor view and indoor area.

Order the Salty Dog Beer . It's made in Charleston by Palmetto Brewing!

Don't ask for the Salty Dog without salt - they get cranky and threaten to throw you to the jellyfish - I feared for my life
