Chocolate cannele is amazing. Flaky crispy outer layer but lovely softness inside. Perfect amount of sweet, not cloying at all. I wish I had gotten a half dozen of these instead of just one.

The rosemary and Meyer lemon bread is to die for! On the sweet side their cannelé and laminated pastries are amazing!

Everything here is as good as in Paris . You cannot go wrong stopping by for a quick breakfast pastry .

No, not technically a donut shop , but it's really hard to talk about wonderful rolls of dough w/o mentioning some of the goods at Village Baking Co., like the laminated Brioche fresh out of the oven.

The smells coming out of the bakery are amazing, but just wait until you try the pastries and the breads .

Make sure to get the vanilla canele with a cup of the cultivar coffee . Such a stellar combination. Coffee was still free last time I went. Yay!
