This is the best ice cream spot in Dallas/Fort Worth - hands down! Handmade on-site, great flavors, great people working there and in a really cool area.
Sweet Firefly is the best gourmet ice cream shops around! Their ice cream is the amazing! The atmosphere is fun, busy, and extremely family oriented. It is an instant classic! Sweet gifts too!
Had the firefly glacé with salted caramel (coffee with a scoop of ice cream ) - delicious! Looks like they also host children's parties.
Almost everyone gets the salted caramel , but lemon vanilla is my favorite.

DFW has some great food, but sadly it does not have many good non-chain ice cream shops and I wouldn't call Sweet Firefly great either. Its ice cream is average at best, but the atmosphere is good.
