Super easy to transfer to Amtrak , you don't even have to leave the station. Just follow the signs. Frequent trains to Sacramento/Davis and a few trains daily to the Central Valley.
They have a self check in near the stairs of the amtrak entrance if u need to pick up your tickets.
The food is always great
The wider parking spaces
For some the end of the line for others beginning of the day
Easy connection through sketchy tunnel to Amtrak .
Free Valet parking Monday thru Friday after 8am
Parking lot full by 830-845AM. I cannot wait till the parking garage is finished....
There always somebody walking around asking people for change.

some mornings there is a good cloud of weed smoke in the underground

The BART STATION AGENT isn't supposed to know anything about AMTRAK,they work for BART, DUH!
Don't ask attendant about Amtrak . They know nothing.
