Spencer's for Steaks & Chops

Great meal, lived the Foie gras appetizer , the New York Strip was AWESOME, cooked to perfection. Brussel sprouts with pork belly are off the chart, delicious. Great wine selection too ????????❤️

Staff is always super friendly ! Classic 1950’s vibe with Jazz . Really yummy food as well ! Decent wine selection if you’re looking for a nice bottle!

Spencer's rib was fantastic. Nearly didn't go due to some of the reviews here, but the food and service were both spot on. Recommended!

If you're staying at the hotel and looking for a cheap dinner you can ask for the lunch menu at dinner . Get the burger .

Try the bar menu! Order the bar ribeye and substitute a different side for the fries . Makes for a pretty decent dinner @ a reasonable cost .

Stopped here only because Ruth's Chris was full. Worst steak I've had in a long time. Unseasoned, luke warm, served on a stone cold plate . Very disappointing. Watery cocktails (this is SLC, I know!)

Sit at the bar for bar menu with reasonable sandwiches

The Spencer's steak is the best steak I've ever had. You've got to have at least one in your lifetime.

Jerry went to the 'act like you don't give a damn' school of bar tending. I could train a monkey to do his job!

I ate in the bar area. A room to the side. The service was mediocre for a $100 per dinner per person. The meal was good with no complaints but it did not blow my doors off. $$/value below average.

Great steaks , the bread pudding is different but really good

Take a few steps to your left from the hotel and enjoy a much better steak at Ruth's Chris. I was very disappointed.

Not the best experience. Steak was not up to par, no sear, even though the menu says 1600 degree sear. Seasoning was weak. Go to Ruth's instead.

Cowboy cut is a good way to go.

Ridiculously expensive and not really all that friendly . Just leave the hotel .

Avoid the beefsteak tomato . It's over-cooked/ mushy. The sauce is fine, but yuck.

Don't get the bread pudding . It's not good.
