The carrot cake and breakfast empanadas were so good. The cake was super moist and the empanada was so buttery and flakey ????

Hands down best pastries and coffee combo in the Burg. And the vibe at Butler is incredible without going over the top. Eli and his staff are all super nice and have put a ton of care and thought in.

All their pastries are solid, but the mini sausage roll is amazing. If you’re looking for an excuse to eat what is essentially a savory yet sweet “breakfast hamburger”, this is a must.

The baked goods here are better than any other cafe in NYC. Get the herb chili scone - it’s the perfect balance of salty, buttery, and flaky.

Baked goods are great, and serving ware adds a lovely touch. Avoid when it’s hot out, or on Sunday afternoons when people table-park to study.

I left my iced cold brew on the counter while I stepped into the restroom . The iced coffee was new, and was thrown out by staff . I was given a small hot coffee instead, inconsiderably in hot weather.

Nice ambiance but not that impressed w food - came twice, once for sandwich (avocado so brown!) and once for pastry (a little stale)
