NYPL’s Allerton Library in the Bronx first opened in January 1960. Stop by and pick up a few good reads for the weekend!
I reserved a book and waited a week for this #nursing book without any updates from library while it was still sitting on the bookshelf. Poor service.
The on-site collection is tiny and there are no charging stations for laptops and other devices you may bring. What I do love about this place is that the reading room is bright and classically retro. - Karin R
I love the layout and the amount of space there is to sit down and get your work done. The straggler dope fiends in the immediate vicinity are also a lovely reminder we're still in the Bronx. - Venture NYC
