Name says it all! This place is nearly deserted every day, but offers up some awesome skiing . Bootpack in Honeycomb Canyon and find some secret stashes.
Shhh. Keep this gem a secret. I am lucky to call it home. It has all the gnarly stuff and Utah powder of its neighbors, ease of backcountry access, but no fuss and few crowds. Quiet please!!
A great resort with a lot of varied terrain . It's easy to navigate and not crowded , definitely a worth while place to hit the slopes .
Good mountain , but the lifts are not arranged very well . Very nice mountain biking in summer. Restaurants are just okay and are expensive . It looks like they are making some big changes to the lifts.
Wowzers! No where I’d rather be than here. Even bad snow, Solitude is the bomb. It’s quiet and tranquil. Go to Nordic Center, get you some snow shoes , or CC skis ... good for the soul!!
Good medium size mountain resort . The pricing is messed up on the website, and staff will lie to your face but the terrain is good even in spring and it’s not crowded midweek.
Spend your day going down Honeycomb Canyon , where the powder stays fresh longer than anywhere else. The Summit gates are the most fun, with access to the southern side of the canyon.
Fantastic off piste skiing , ski honeycomb canyon . Great family environment as well
Wonderful mountain and the nicest staff ! And don't forget to get a beer at Argenta Pub !
Good Groomers ! The SolBrite access is a little scary especially if there is minimal fround cover!
Small resort , 1500 acres. I have never seen solitude crowded . Great resort for the intermediate skier.
Lots of chill blue groomers with some advanced terrain
Awesome skiing and way less people than Brighton.
Totally underrated go all day here then go to Brighton for the evening.
powder, groomers , scenic views , canyons
Awesome mountain ... Rarely are there any lift lines
Went snowshoeing last weekend before the last big storm
Check the mobile site mountain report to see what was groomed the previous night
Don't go here. We like it uncrowded!
Not crowded .
Parking lot sledding is the bomb!
(2/2) Inn is average, with decent rooms but old bathrooms , poor WIFI and crappy breakfast . Staff at ski shop is unhelpful at best. Overall, Solitude is passable for day skiing or a 2-3 days stay max.
See Tyler for Snowboard lessons.
Bring 10 vitamin water 20 oz labels and get 2 lift tickets for $65!!
Snowboarders avoid sol bright unless board is heavily waxed and u have a crutch
Almost there. Brighton is just ahead!
Have a Czech Pilsner and a glass of Basil ;
Have a glass of Basil Kimi Style.
Summit Chair is awesome!
Drop into honeycomb is door today:-)
Go somewhere else. Solitude is mine ;)
(1/2) Pluses: ski in ski out, easy skiing , no lines . Minuses: runs marketed as 77 counting every turn around 3 pine trees (in reality 15-20 runs), too few restaurants , awful food on slopes .
Though the food is pricey, the veggie burgers (black bean, not Boca) are very filling and fresh. - Kelsey
Lame runs and crowded chair - eric bornemann
Good espresso, tea selection. Beautiful. Somewhat expensive. Photo of the chorizo-egg sandwich. - A.J. Brahm
Surprisingly delicious veggie burger! Get it with Gorgonzola crumbles - Sam Gr
Best fries on any resort. Best riders use SNOCRU! - SNOCRU
