배재학당 역사박물관은 미국인 선교사 아펜젤러(Henry Gerhart Appenzeller, 1858~1902)가 세운 한국 최초의 서양식 근대교육기관인 배재학당의 동관 건물을 그대로 살려 2008년 7월 24일 개관하였다. 서울시기념물 제 16호(2001년 지정)
