Bag a sofa on the balcony (book in advance) and grab a beers or glass of wine - there is no better way to watch an artsy-type film .
You can buy bottles of beer to take in with you - you get a plastic cup - just sit near the edge if it's a long film for easy access to the toilet !

On a Wednesday (orange wednesday, usually big lines) get your tickets at lunch time for an evening viewing. May waste lunch break in a queue but you won't miss the film later. - Helen Ashman
