This one of the best farmers markets . They have meat, seafood , fruits , nuts , vegetables including some Asian vegetables . They also have nice plants. Some vendors take cards.
Guys, listen up. This is THE place to buy flowers for your lady. Cheap prices, and they last longer because they are sooooo fresh. She will think you are intelligent AND romantic !!!

Nice variety, esp. on Wednesday. Like all 'farmers' markets ,' it's become a lifestyle hangout, but with amputee beggars in the center aisle.
Can't miss if your visiting or live near by. There are several every week, but the biggest and best is on the 3rd street Promenade on Wednesdays. Starts at 830am - ends around 1pm

Def the best day to go vs. Saturday. More variety available. Can't start buying til they ring the bell at 8:30am! Local restaurants , chefs buy first.
I went to this market to buy some fresh vegetables for my family. It was never a mistake that I traveled hours to reach this place because all of your veggies and fruits were nutritious to eat.
Love browsing for fresh and tasty food here. One of the few places you don't have to dodge someone's dog or a Prius in Santa Monica. Yum!

Wednesday's are better then Saturday's! Full lot, and plenty of seasonal goods.

Certified organic apparently means you pay triple for the same stuff you can get at the grocery store .
