Authentic . As in real. This place hasn’t changed in the 7 years I’ve been visiting. Good simple food, good choice of beers . Long friendly tables. Great cake .

The soup and a sandwich deal is good value and really tasty! Canteen style so very short waiting time for food if you're in a rush... Great choice of beer on tap .

Great vibes at night. One of the most sociable venues I've ever been too - must be the benches . Things get intense downstairs though!

Don't know about the soup kitchen but the basement bar here is great fun on a Monday night. Open til 3am and full of attractive (young) people.

Always have vegan options here, and their curries are usually great. Good place if you're a mixed group of eaters!

First Monday of every month they serve the best Jamaican food . Delicious jerk chicken and addictive goat curry .
