My favorite beach to go to! From south bend Indiana and I've be coming here 7 years. Its free and never to packed. Great family fun!
Make sure to get a picture at sunset of the pier . Beautiful.
Absolutely loved it. Parking was free on Sunday.
One downside - $7 to park with in and out privileges.

Nice sunrise
For some cool lighthouse pics, visit just before a storm comes in.
Fun time and the waves were moderate.
Warning: packs of rowdy irishmen known to frequent this area.

Drinking is permitted on the beach , as long as it isn't in a glass container. Refreshing change from other beaches such as in Chicago, where it's completely prohibited.
