If you're flying Southwest and check in on your phone, take a photo of your confirmation screen so you can easily find your confirmation number at ticketing.

Free drinks, free bags, amazing service and great deals on their website. They lost my bag fr 1 hour today and sent me a 100$ voucher for the inconvenience and also found my bag! Good stuff.

I love Southwest airlines , but oh boy do I hate their terminal in San Diego's airport , it's too small and always crowded .

I prefer Southwest Airlines to all the others. Noticeable positive difference in attitudes of employees compared to American Airlines and Delta Airlines . Plus free baggage makes SWA my favorite.

You can take 2 bags but if you take 1 bag that's 6 pounds too heavy it boats $50. Creative gouging. Next time I will fly American.

Use the Express baggage checkin line on the right to avoid the wait

Thought there were no self serve kiosks, but turns out they are on the far left end of the ticket counter. Printing boarding passes here and skip the huge full service line

A-List status lets you skip the regular TSA security line and checks you in automatically!

If you're unlucky enough to leave from Gate 1 or 2, prepare for a cramped waiting area with one crappy restaurant and a news stand as your only options for food

In terminal one off to the right side there is a back room for waiting. Full of plugs for charging things and almost always empty.

Park your butt in a rocking chair next to the ticket window.

This terminal is too small to support even half the people here! Expansion needed BADLY!

No express check kiosks here, so if you did not print your boarding pass you have a long wait in the full service line . Bag drop meanwhile is empty.

Pre-print your boarding pass , if possible.

Why is the line for southwest always huge, but shorter at other airports ? Carry on if possible
