a classic in dutch industrial design. in addition to their lighting, furniture & homeware , the store now includes clothing , and a one room hotel ! a must on the amsterdam design route.
Always enjoy coming here, even though it's very minimal. It's quirky, has nice tea and cake , and an expensive collection of nik naks. The hotel itself has only one room.
I lived here for 2 years, and never knew that there was a cafe inside! Really nice place all white interior. They serve nice coffee and it's not to crowded inside! Great!
I love that place! Shop, lecture and food in one building. A must if you are close to the Opera house.

Lunchplatter is a delicious bargain!! Super nice attic restaurant in the heart of the city . One of my favorite spots for lunch !
Expansive concept store with household items , artwork, sculptures and a cafe . Don't forget to visit the restaurant and see the Bluebirds.
Cafe upstairs is simply beautiful and serves very tasty cakes and coffee / tees..

The gift shop is also huge, lots of options from scarves to coats and other small souvenirs. Very pricey tho 😑

Can't say this is the store for everyone, I couldn't find what I was looking for and the prices for SOME items are really hard to justify.
Just follow them "drink, eat, shop, think"

The acquarium is very nice
World-class design shop with great products to admire + some more affordable to give as a gift ! Recently extended with a nice cafe , a lovely one-room hotel , a garden and more exhibition space.
