Quite nice hotel and now rebranded as Hotel Philadelphia 201, as of Jan 2019... we were lucky to get a high floor and beautiful view of the square + staff were all super friendly + bed was very cozy !!
Staff was accommodating, let us check in a little early and have us free wifi . Was a great deal and very close to the business district. A little old, but clean and comfy . Nice tv !
I arrived at 11am and was happily able to get an early check in. room was obviously remodeled since some of the other comments, fridge would have been nice. I got a super rate online so no complaints.
Great rate if you work for Comcast. Great service. Renovation is slowing improving the look. Housekeeping has improved but has a way to go. Gluten Free Beer (Redbridge) at the lobby bar !
Very kind front desk staff . Lovely lobby and convenient location that's not in the middle of everything. Close enough to walk around downtown. However, my bed linens were a little stained.
Comfortable rooms , decent price. For it's location it's one of the better deals in the city - many tourist attractions , great restaurants , and cheaper parking are all within walking distance.
SPG membership and booking with Sheraton online we got a great view on the 21st floor. Other than that pretty standard downtown hotel in a good spot for city center attractions .
Became an SPG member & received free wifi . Flat screen TV , comfy bed & signed up to not receive housekeeping every day in lieu of 500 SPG points each day you opt out.
Had an amazing stay here and the location was great. Wifi cost money, but is free if you book through Starwood preferred guests program.
Two parking payment machines at the exit of the garage . They take credit cards , but also lock up traffic after large events . Wish they'd move them by the elevators to pay before you leave as others do
Listen to the bad tips here. Checked after a show at the Mann theater about 11:00 PM so I was committed. Hotel had an 18 wheeler with a generator supplying power and drying fans all over the lobby
front desk clerk Asia was the best. Great service, great smile, beautiful personality. Made this stay special with her special touch and affection.
Amazing staff ! The ac in my unit was making a loud , metal noise. Engineer came up to check it out and front desk immediately moved me to another room and even helped me move my stuff.
Good price for the area, very comfortable , and they have a beautiful pool and fitness center . Would definitely stay here again.
Newly renovated rooms with flat screen TVs . WiFi comped for our conference . Great view if downtown. Only things missing are the fridge and microwave.
Showers could be best described as a lukewarm drizzle. Engage the massage mode with the knob on the shower head for laser-focused spot cleaning .
The purple PHLASH trolley runs Fri, Sat & Sun from 10-6 pm May-October 28, 2012. Just head to stop 5, buy a $2 ticket & you'll be on your way to seeing Philadelphia's attractions and museums . Read more
Rooms were nice. The restaurant in the lobby is understaffed. Otherwise, it's a good value place to stay while in Downtown Philadelphia.
Put the going green door hang on your door know for a $5 food/drink coupon. I used it for Starbucks downstairs every morning.
HUGE hotel . Be warned, some of the rooms aren't renovated yet. Ask when you book !
If you're just parking overnight the best bet is the lot across the street go $5
Another great reason to stay here: AT&T Wi-Fi is one of the many amenities here for guests. It’s fast and easy to connect.
If you're a diabetic, they will not give you a sharps container, but you can give your sharps to someone "in security" who will handle their disposal. A tad demeaning, but useful
The bagels are only 2 bucks and you get as much cream cheese as you want! Great way to start your day in Philly!
The gym has been recently renovated (big improvement) but now it feels like a hot yoga class in there...soooo hot and humid!!
The Hotel and Rooms are Nice but don't try to order anything to be delivered at the hotel , they keep packages in another room locked and it's not always available to retrieve them
No fridges in room. Have to pay for Internet. Breakfast buffet = $17. Good location. Comfy rooms . Helpful staff . Great workout room .
Love the hotel , but would it kill them to put in a mini fridge and a microwave? Not everyone wants to eat downstairs. I would definitely stay here again. Who gives a crap about a flat screen ?
Really like this place. Good folks and reasonable for the quality. Only complaint: don't charge for wifi . That's just effing greedy guys. Internet is on par with hot running water. Seriously.
Comfortable hotel in a prime location.
Very nice, recently remodeled hotel with a friendly staff . Very easy walking distance to Verizon Tower or Comcast Center. And they allow pets !
Still loud ac but it works fine. Now w flat screen tv . Location great for walking around city . Lounge on 26th floor for you frequent travellers
Mreh. Stay just about anywhere else.
Great service! Attentive, polite and prompt customer service.
Location kinda sucks because it's close to highway and construction but nice staff and clean rooms .
back for a second year in a row! Great rooms, comfy beds and big TVs .
Cheap hotel in quality and price. Be prepared to expect reasonable accommodations, expensive parking , moderately clean rooms , and a big box hotel atmosphere.
Our room was modern and clean . Flat screen . Newly remodeled. Just great!
This is actually a really great place to stay. A lot of the people complaining about no flat screen tv are absurd. That's what whiny people say.
The room seems nice and the guy at the front desk gave me free wifi just had to ask :-)
Renovated room , amazing view , my wifi was comped AND my room was upgraded - why? I WAS POLITE even though I had a shitty travel day.
One of the employees at the check in desk is sport helpful...and quite the looker ;)
Don't pay the $38 a day parking . City garage across the street is $5 a day.
Self parking is 38/day, valet 44. The garage across the street is 18/day but no in and out.
Watch out for the noisy building site across the street...May 2013
Gross, awful, even management wouldn't respond to requests to discuss the room or lack of view despite.paying for city view . charged me more with no explanation a few days later. no response from CSR.
Odd numbered rooms on the top floors have the best view
Pay for wi-fi, at a fancy hotel ? Also advertised HBO and premium cable but the only watchable was payperview - for network television .
We are at the Philadelphia Pen Show January 20-22, 2012!! Check out our booth and mention Foursquare Tip!
Needs a renovation. AC is super loud . Carpet is scary. Great room service menu and nice tv . Takes a long time for someone to answer the phone.
Nice health club and great facilities, service staff and concierge. Great experience during the 2013 NSA CONVENTION. - Brad Pluth
Very convenient location; good hotel room for the price. Parking right in front of the hotel. Very good customer service. - Ale
Beautiful hotel, luxurious rooms, and a great hotel bar. Pricey, but worth it for a memorable experience. - Jeannette L.
Awesome salad bar!! Very fresh, tons of options! - Lisa Holst
Really nice pub serving loads of different beers. If you want to get the good stuff, ask for Erika and make her pick your drinks! #awesomeserverErika - Taco Verdonschot
