Amazing place to come in the spring or fall. Have a pitnic under a tree . Relax go kayaking . Can't get better than this!!!
So much nature in the early morning. I saw diving birds, gators , wild monkeys . The boat tour is totally worth it. Bring a camera .
Really amazing film history here! Incredible in its hay day. They are updating everything, really a gem. Staff didn't seem to really know what the facts were, boat crew and david were amazing.
While shots of the entrance to Hugo Drax's Space Centre were done in the studio, James Bond's fight with the python in Moonraker (1979) was shot here at Silver Springs Nature Park .
The admission is free now! Only pay $8 for the parking and the glass bottom boat ride is only $12 for adults and $9 for kids. If you get tired of the springs you can go to the watermark next to it.
The glass bottom boat tour (90 min) was pretty cool. Saw lots of gators and turtles . Saw a cute little monkey when we came back! (On the dock!)
The Glass Bottom Boat is a must. There is live music . The river is so clear you can see the bottom
A good park to wander around and see some of the wildlife . Easy access for wheelchairs all around the park .
This place is beautiful definitely recommend getting some ice cream here in going on the glass floor boat tour
Glass bottom boat tours and canoe and stand up paddle rentals. Camping and cabin rentals too. Very pretty place
Peaceful place to rest and or kayak . Glass bottom boat's a bit pricey for how short the trip.
What used to be a great park is now an abandoned wasteland with a couple glass bottom boats. SHAME on the State of Florida for taking over and doing nothing to preserve this historical landmark . :-(
Beautiful scenery and walking trails
If bringing your own kayak , the ramp is via a mile plus walk through the woods.
Nice, except the rangers take thier job a little too serious...... :-(
Cool place films made here
Charming old Florida attraction in the midst of transition.
If you have kids, visit the petting zoo and feed the giraffes. Both are big hits!
Love the bottomless boat
Get lost on the trails ! They're magnificent!
Make sure to bring plenty of quarters, for feeding the animals. Check out the critter show.
We drove almost 2 hours and we are tourists from Argentina. There was nothing to do here. Parking is expensive for nothing. No animals. No activities. Not even a map. It looks like it was a great place
Glass bottom boats are cool
Make sure to take a glass bottom boat Tours
Rent a kayak or canoe to paddle to the springs.

Music in the park is very depressing. Put on a happy face. Seemed like the twilight zone.
