Watching an action movie in a packed out crowd on opening night at The Grand Cathay is a blast! One of the top 3 biggest screens in Singapore!

I love the service here! The movie experience is outstanding! The blankets are so comfy . Be sure to get plenty of rest! you might get too comfy and fall asleep! :)

Kept me entertained during my trips to Singapore. Tickets are easy to get and the halls are clean , like everything else in Singapore. Comfortable seats as well .

Did u know? The Cathay Bldg used to house d British Malaya Broadcasting Corpn. When Japanese occupied SG, it was seized & used for their own propaganda broadcasting.

One of the best places to catch a movie in Singapore. Go for the Grand Cathay if you want the huge screen.

Popcorn isn't amazing or anything, even though it's much better than popcorn you get at other theaters. I guess the bar for good popcorn in SG is pretty low :/

Cathy cineplex is the best in the town ! Huge seat, large screen and awesome sound system !

Go ahead and indulge. Tops of all the specialty cinema lounges . Feels like a bigger airline First Class section, especially in the feel & design of seats.

If you have a UOB card, tickets are $6 during weekdays & $8 during weekends. If you've got a PAssion card , use that for the weekends as movie tickets are $7 flat! :)

If lifts are full, try the firemen lift, through a side door by the main lifts. It's also the only lift that goes all the way up to the level 8 carpark.

Worth the price, and the food served is reasonably good! Ask for blanket if u feel cold, dun have to bring ur own cardigan/jacket. :)

The seats are comfortable . Nicer than GV or Lido even. Bigger theater too I guess.

Premier movie studio is so awesome.. just watched Olympus Has Fallen here..worth spend money.. SGD 28 each..

Good legroom for comfort. Choose Row P for maximum legroom and space. :)

Try the level 8 carpark instead of the basement one. There are usually lots there, even on weekends. Entrance is at Mt Sophia Road .

Nice staff allowed us to short cut through the front with a baby pram. Queue was a bit longer than I expected for a afternoon show~
