I love that you can pack a lunch to bring along because that saves you money especially if you come and have to pay admission but on free days the whole day can be free with packing a lunch

Prepare to spend a couple hours here, really nice museum with great, well-done displays. Go in the morning to avoid class field trips.

The new Crossroads of Civilization, a first for the MPM in a little more than a decade, is NOT to be missed. Truly an outstanding experience.....

The public museum is very deceiving. From the outside it looks small but it is enormous and a great place to take a date.
I recommend getting the museum pass! It's a really nice museum and I LOVE the mock little towns !!
Free Mondays are about to make way for the first Thursday of the month free for Milwaukee county residents. Just a heads up!

Monday is free for Milwaukee residents, so if you don't want to feel crowded don't come on Mondays.

If you have an MPM membership, the MacArthur Square parking lot fee is only $5 (versus $6 or $9 otherwise depending on time spent inside).

Make sure to buy your tickets for iMax at the main ticket booth . There are no signs in waiting area and I went from being first to twentieth in line .
The burgers they serve in the Cafe , are actually reeaaally good. Worth the wait!

Saw the dinosaur exhibit . Thought it was a little lacking. But the kids seemed to enjoy it.
Get a discount card from Visit Milwaukee for a 50% savings. Allow about 3 hrs to see the museum .

Go to the far right side of the native american hunting exhibit and make the snakes tail rattle the button is under the rock
