Unexpected luxury , incredibly comfortable bed , beautiful decor, looks like Manhattan in Bakersfield. Friendly staff , beautiful historic building , reasonably priced.

Great restored old hotel . Bar at night always full of good folks. Clean , quiet , except for few old Ghosts , and reasonably priced.

Such a good hotel for Bakersfield. Comfortable beds , rooms are a bit small and some of them have an awkward window to the toilet from the bed and it can be loud if the clubs are open.

We use to stay at the Marriott every time we came to Bakersfield ( from New Jersey). We found the Padre a great boutique hotel .

Don't let the servers "auto-close" your tab just because their leaving. If you want to get tipped out.. Say so.. Don't tell me it's policy. Your system WILL allow xfers of checks.. Very annoying.

What is not good tonight is the service. Waited at least 10 minutes to order a glass of wine

This hotel has the worst mobile site. I couldn't reserve online via my phone or tablet. They lost a customer to the Marriott due to this. Too bad. I was looking forward to it.

Mothers Day brunch was subpar. Service was mediocre. If you're looking for an upscale LA style restaurant , you're better off in LA.
