New budget hotel near Shinjuku station, around 10-15 minutes walk to JR Lines . Room are functional but small even för japanese standard. Staff are friendly and hotel have a public bath plus free WiFi
Stayed in two APAs on this trip, and this one was noticeably more old and tatty. Cheap , functional, quiet and dark rooms. But small rooms, lifts often have queues, and the WiFi doesn't work reliably.
Small but very clean and functional. Staff will try to speak English if you need it!

Small rooms yes, but that's a Tokyo classic, it seems. Other than that, it was a new, clean, good hotel in a pleasant neighbourhood. Relatively cheap too. Would happily stay there again. - Nilgun Ozcan
