I come from a city that has an insane burger scene (Sydney, Australia). I heard Black Iron did a mean burger and I have to say hands down the best mix of flavours I have had in a burger in NYC!

We recommend this burger place to everyone! I had the Masterpiece and my wife the black Iron burger and we shared the Herb and garlic fries and we drank some excellent craft beers paired by our server

Been here twice during lunch and the service was prompt. The veggie burger is my fav. The salmon burger was tasty too. Share a side of aioli fries to complete your meal. The house sangria was amazing.

One of my favorite restaurants . Burgers were outstanding, Aioli fries with cheese were unbelievable & the wings were very good. The chocolate oreo shake was also great & the brownie was really good.

Nice burger spot in the garment district desert . The interior is cozy , and then have a great beer selection . The burgers look huge in the pictures, but they are totally manageable. Do Masterpiece.

Classic burger with large french fries (this size for two is ok!) and chocolate shake . Really good! The milk shake could be bigger...

Herb and garlic fries were extremely addictive, as were their burgers . The masterpiece really deserves its name and their milkshakes were out of this world.

Garlic fries are amazing! The burgers are really good, but I wish the horseradish mayo had a little more kick. They only serve beer and wine .

Come a little later in the evening when the after work crowds thin out. Fries are a must with your order.

Food ok but they automatically include 18% tip on the bill in a way where you have to ask them to change it and then they have another line to add additional tip on the final receipt

This place is totally overrated. The burgers are not as delicious as the Minetta Tavern or DB Bistro . Better go to those places instead to get a delicious burger .
