New play at the lookingglass theater about the eastland disaster.
Fascinating historical spot and yet nothing marks it. What remains is a parking lot and small grassy space. Check out the phenomenal pizzeria across the street and have a beer (prohibition is over:) ) - Erik Rowley
On July 22, 1934, 31 year old John Dillinger (public enemy #1) was shot dead at the entryway to this alley running from FBI agents after seeing Manhattan Melodrama at the Biograph Theater. - Erik Rowley

Very interesting museum about Chicago life & history. Definitely worth a visit. - Lucille Fisher
