I've been to a lot of zoos and this one noticeably is home to the cutest animals--most of all the tas devils, prairie dogs (v. small and fluffy), and koala that latches onto a teddy bear in its sleep.
Baby Hippo is adorable! Lots of construction and continued to hit dead ends, but we had a lovely time. We were able to dick in and out of indoor exhibits between rain storms.
Amazing selection of animals! Great price for entry. Nice pavilion and lawn for picnics . Parking lot not so great and streets leading to Zoo are confusing. Worth a stop while in Albuquerque!
Zoo boo isn't quite great. You wait in line at booths for 5 minutes just for one piece of candy . Parking is impossible to find, and the zoo is crowded . But, good exercise.
When they have their concerts here it is an awesome time to hit the zoo then catch some live tunes on a summer evening!
Getting a Bio Park membership is an amazing deal. Nothing like unlimited zoo (and aquarium/garden) access!
Great zoo and a fantastic open grass area to let the kids run wild. Great exhibits too. Go in the Morning to miss the crowds and heat
Flamingos the first attraction as you walk in the gates, beautiful!
Zoo Boo today from 11am to 4pm. Come out and help Raise Money to feed the animals and get your picture taken with a Star Wars character or other Super hero character...
One of my favorite zoos so far and I've been to over 20! Very nice. Got amazing giraffe pictures
Beautiful Zoo It takes more time then their literature recommends to see everything
Don't forget to bring quarters to buy food so the kids (big & small) can feed the ducks and fish . Lots of fun!
Great zoo , especially for the price. Even though some animals were off exhibit or docile, it was worth the price.
Great layout, lots to see and do. Kept my little kids ingested all day.
Nice variety of animals. Good habitats. Nice layout.
Don't miss the seals and sea lions. Great display and it's a nice shady spot to get out of the heat.
Concerts are lovely. Love the exhibits .
The best. Lots of animals and always open
Twinkle light parking lot ... Free park and ride. Get here early. It's insane.
Nice zoo . I was surprised to see polar bears !
Great concerts and family events .
Saw the baby hippo born this morning!
Zoo music gets crazy. Get here early for good parking or you'll have a walk.
Remember to bring water and a hat because it's hot out!
Everything!!
This is a nice place 2 go 2 and see the monkeys in Albuquerque.
Go early: parking lot was pretty full at 11:30am, but crazy packed at 1:00pm, incl the neighborhood streets.
Great polar bear exhibit .
The polar bears are fun to watch
Lots of fun today.
Really cool zoo .
A safe place to fart.
A great way to spend Mothers Day!
Photobooth by front entrance.
The reptile exhibit is closed, boo!
Run in a zig-zag pattern if the crocodiles escape!
Flamingos stink. Literally.
Go to the zoo when the weather is nicer
It's freezing!!!!
This is a wonderful zoo. Make sure you have your camera or phone with you. Lots of opportunities to get great pix of animals especially many free roaming peacocks. - Lynne Sturtevant
The permanent exhibition is relatively small but the curators did a great job telling the story of each piece. Admission to the art museum is free on Sundays! Don't miss the fresco in the Torreon. - Marion D
A very nice park, good place to relax and read a book or jog around! - Estevan Tafoya
I like the underwater tunnels you can walk through! And the Bio Park isn't Bad either. They host alot of events there including live music! - Estevan Tafoya
Waaay over priced. With high zoo admission they need to tone down the higj food prices - Lindsey Dominguez
