Sun King Brewery

Founded in 2009 (part of the current microbeer explosion), Sun King is already the...well King of beer in Naptown. The Tasting room is a great spot to try regular and seasonal drafts !

If you want to immerse yourself in the brewery , visit the tasting room . Try the available beers and learn more about beer production. Kegs , growlers and cans can be purchased from the tasting room .

I really liked several of their brews. They keep 3 house brews and a variety of seasonal. Warehouse style ambient, pretty loud and crowded . Tours available. Close at 7pm even on weekends. No food.

Take advantage of their growler deals and cheap refills ! For newbies, the Cream Ale is a good draft to start with. I really enjoyed the Lupulin Astronaut as well .

Head to Sun King Brewery for a tasting session every Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m., Friday from noon – 7 p.m. and Saturday from 1 – 5 p.m. The tasting includes house, seasonal and specialty beers .

Of the breweries we visited in Indy, I liked this one best. Staff top notch, games avail to play and the beer was really good. There’s something for everyone!

Best Nitro in town . Love coming here for events and team happy hour ! Best to get here before 4 on Friday to get your friends a table.

The beer is good but the ambiance is whoa--as in: whoa fluorescent lighting! The space is still cool, though. They have a giant Connect Four game and Nintendo.

i went there once and bought two 64 ounce growlers both beers were amazing that i had one was the slumber that stuff was strong. place is cool the samples are about the size of half a cup.

Free tastings Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tasty beer . Nice people. It can't get any better than that.

Wee Mac is pretty tasty. Skip the Java Mac (coffee goes better with stouts ) and Colt 444 (malt liquor is not #craftbeer)
