Morton Arboretum is a favorite spot for families year-round, but its extra special in the fall. Visitors can hike the trails , run through the maze or just sit and admire the brilliant fall colors .
I have been to The Morton Arboretum many of times. I loved seeing all the artwork in the nature exhibition . I have seen some of them with my SEASPAR Eagles group and my parents as well too.
The trails are a great way to walk through the plant collections and reconnect with nature, even in the winter.
Excellent for long walks and runs. Take sunscreen and/or an umbrella. There are plenty of sunny areas.
Love the children's garden , and if you need the little ones to take a nap, it's nice to drive the East/West trails and have them drift off while you enjoy the view .
Great for people of all walks and ages. Groomed trails and kid friendly . Pack you sunscreen and bug repellent .
Beautiful place 365 days a year. Spectacular views with a little food service, helpful staff and some neat ideas in the gift shop . Highly recommended!
Just did a night time hike looking for owls. None to be found, but it's a lovely evening!
Children's wonder exploring outdoors, slides , water play. Bubbles on the lake & scarecrow fun! #realfun
Don’t park on the grass or the trolls will teach you a lesson.
Super pricey . Kids get just as much fun running around a forest preserve as they do here. Forest preserve entry fee is much much less than this place.
The Children's Garden is an all day event if you just let your kids explore and play. We love it here.
On Wednesdays in the summer they have wine down Wednesday's.
Illumination Event always good! A must do!
