Not very Japanese (couldn't see local people while there, everyone was western) but amazing atmosphere and good food. Staff is friendly and the skewers are really good (try the cheese and pancetta )!
Best yakitori !! Try iberico, rib , cheese , vegetables rather than chicken section. Potato croquette with egg was also so good. Recommend citrus yuzu wine !
Keep an eye out for the sliding door (a couple of crates and kegs are outside too), great service & atmosphere. The bacon wrapped fried noodles were scrumptious and juicy.
The skewers was very taste(especially chicken & pork rib ), if you want to try AAAAA that you should tell them how you like. Also dont forget to try sake .
My experience here was great. Welcoming staff , wide variety of delicious food, you can order at your leisure. Difficult to locate the brown sliding door, but, once you do your sure to have a good time!
Get the chef 's selection 8 skewers , composition rotates by availability. Also the special dessert , which is ALL OF THEM. Super worth it.
Every single staff here is so energetic pretty different from other japanese restaurants . Yakitori is so damn good. Atmosphere is also so good. Window seat is fun and recommended especially in rain
Finger licking good yakitori and the staff is a bit crazy (in a good way). ???? Need to take off your shoes and sit on the floor. Great hosts! ❤️
ALL the steaks were excellent. Pork ribs was delicious - better meat to fat ratio than two other places we've tried. Japanese peppers . Asparagus wrapped with pork . It was all high quality.
Sesame tofu was strange and delightlful. A chewy custard with sweet sesame flavor. The standouts were the vegetables . Eringi mushrooms and young shoots were amazingly flavorful, smokey and tender.
My favorite yakitori place in Tokyo. Prices aren't bad, all the skewers were fantastic, and they have a great drink menu as well . Open until 5am on Fri/Sat night if you're hungry in the Roppongi area!
The best yakitori I’ve ever had. Try the beef loin and the special fried ramen wrapped in bacon . Both were divine.
Nice ambience, friendly staff , delicious skewers (start with the tasting menu to make sure you get something unusual and you'll be surprised how gorgeous they all are), generous sake/shō-chū servings!
Make a reservation ! They made space for us early on a Thursday, but we had to leave by 8:30. The 8pc skewers are awesome, and sake is delicious of course. It's hot at the bar , but they give you a fan
Awesome vibes, they really pack people in. Best to sit at the counter for better observation. Bacon wrapped shrimp was delicious. Also make sure to order sake as they pour it overflowing style.
Order: O-Zabuton (AAAA beef sirloin steak ), tsukune , uzura (quail eggs ) and sukiyaki . Make sure to dip everything in the yuzu kosho sauce and get the Ryokucha Umeshu for your drink! Cheers!
Hip yakitori spot. Large menu, great sake , friendly staff . They also had no issue accommodating my gluten free needs. I Recommend!
Delightful skewers , and a jovial, bustling environment. A little pricey , but also delightful. They have horse sashimi .
Lovely place! Great food, also the sweetest and most helpful staff . Sit at the bar and have the whale (or anything on the menu)
Might be seasonal but the oil mixed stew of spicy fish egg was outstanding. Dip bread for a spicy flavourful accompaniment to sake .
WOW. This is an absolute must in Tokyo. Order everything. The pork belly and the Gorgonzola tortilla skewers were the best.
Awesome sake and huge yakitori menu. Very cool vibe and seating areas.
Awesome skewers . By some black magic, cabbage tastes like bacon . Open late . Good for post-clubbing/missed-the-last-train snack .
Best food I had in Tokyo! Unmissable! Get the scallop skewers , avocado skewers , the amazing braised pork belly and the bacon wrapped asparagus skewers ! Awesome
Very authentic . My husband was the only Caucasian in there and every table and seat were filled. Between the food and the decor we felt like we were having the perfect Japanese yakitori experience.
Chef’s special choice of skewers were incredible. The aubergine with miso is also delicious as is the beef stew !
Best of the best. Beef was sooo tasty)) chicken just ok. One of the best spot for meat lovers.
So many tasty options! Best to make a reservation . Plenty for vegetarians . Sake isn’t cheap but portions are generous
Fun place to eat. English on the menu. Crowded . Worth it.
Fantastic, flavorful yakitori . Fills up fast so try to arrive right when they open. Try the braised pork belly !
The chef 's selection was delicious, and the staff was a lot of fun. Sticking our feet out the window was a unique dining experience.
Skewers and atmosphere is simply amazing. Yuzu kocho goes well with everything. Go with omakase for chef 's skewers x 8 option.
Nice little restaurant with japanese food . Choose different small dishes , good to share.
Go early, stay late - the place is popular with tourists .. The 8pc sampler is a good intro, but do come with a Japanese friend ;)
Order OMAKASE , chef 's 8 assorted skewers , and enjoy! I'm sure you will want to order more, it's the best food I've eaten in Japan so far :).
Try to make a reservation beforehand, otherwise there are sparse walk-in counter seats . Order from the specials menu.
Excellent izakaya . The grapefruit sours are the best I've ever had.
O-zabuton, tsukune , grilled lilies, eryngii, lotus pork , shishito peppers are my fav! Umeshu soda and yuzu kosho
Incredible bbq skewers , nice atmosphere, wide selection of different meats & vegetable skewers as well as Japanese alcohol .
The potato croquette is a must!
Lively , can get quite loud at night. Fun atmosphere . The daily 8-skewer osusume set is a great way to start things off.
Nice restaurant and great food. Plenty of choice for vegetarians . Potato croquette is not vegetarian though. Friendly staff .
Everything is delicious, but make sure to try the amazing fried corn .
Handmade sesame tofu . Excellent.
We had a hard time finding the place, but it was well worth the hunt. Friendly staff and amazing food.
Yakitori is yummy! Especially the juicy beef ???? The mochi-like toufu is super yummy too!!!
Go for beef . Delicious. And good choice of sake
You should try the meat skewers and the avocado .. Amazing
Awesome location, delicious food. I love the avocado ...
Delicious food, the Place Is very friendly and cozy . A must for roppongi.
Pork belly, asparagus wrapped pork belly, steak, karage chicken, pea croquettes - all delicious!! - Mireya Benedetti
Solid yakitori from a chain, but don't go out of your way. - Heather Rodriguez
Everything and more at reasonable prices 24/7. You will need to look for what you want but it is worth it. Enjoy the interesting crowd... - Yoram Cisinski
Very gaijin friendly and the media and gallery areas always seem to have something worthwhile checking out. - Pedro Merces
The selection of Japanese craft beers here changes frequently, so it's best just to ask what's good. - Dan
