Even the small theaters have good speakers and the screen isn't too close. Depending on the movie and how much you've got to spend, 3D and IMAX are fun choices.
This is my favorite place to see movies at in the Fresno/Clovis area. It's on the pricier side, but that's okay for me.
If it's not a busy day, get your tickets first, and walk around riverpark. Then, head to the movie about 3 minutes before it's supposed to start. Then you'll just miss previews!

Buy tickets on Fandango and pick them up with your card to avoid the lines outside. And buy your candy from The Dollar Tree instead.
Always go for the LG drink and popcorn ... Refills are great for when you're gonna hop!
Be careful using the Fandango iPhone app to book here, sometimes it doesn't register your tickets, then you have to wait in line anyway and you don't get refunded the convenience fee.
For opening weekend and summer, get there extremely early. Long wait for tickets, snacks and to get a decent seat. Like 45 minutes early.
