The hidden gem of NYC. Behind those velvety curtains , a rustic vibe will shock you. Simplicity, deliciousness & energetic. Loved the burger , cheese burger , medium well , the works. Enjoy every second❤️

Patrick Price

Great burger place in one of the most unlikely places. On your left immediately after the front desk of the hotel . Very limited seating , so grab a seat when you can. BURGER NAZI !!

Eric Friedman

This burger spot tucked away inside the hotel is great for a cheeseburger , fries , milk shake combo. 90s posters and signatures on the walls make the divebar-esque atmosphere. Worth the trip!

Dee Phunk

I don't know if it's a top five burger in NYC . But definitely in the top ten. A must visit if you don't mind sticking out a wait amongst throngs of tourists . Bring a marker to sign the wall.

Terri R

Do what most people recommend and get your burger medium rare with the works. Don't be like me and eat your burger on a park bench unless you're prepared to get ketchup and mayo on your pants.

Fernando Kikudome

Simple and tasteful burger . Version with cheese and bacon is enough (but if you are hungry, ain't got no problem for ask the double one). The place is full of people, but you can eat quickly. Worth it

Rami

The burger is extremely delicious! Order a double cheeseburger , medium, the works (all toppings) with fries . Make sure you come early the line is almost 30 mins.

Reign Low

The Burger Joint is the best place to hang have burgers w/fries in a brown paper bag, brownies even!. You can have a coke , beer , milk shake !.. Very pricy ;best place in New York City

S

Soooooo damn good ❤️ one of the tastiest juiciest burgers ever .. The place is so tiny and hidden but so worth it.

Velvet Lerange

I got a cheeseburger with the works. Very juicy succulent burger . I finished in about 30 seconds because of how good it was. Just a really solid burger that couldn’t go wrong.

PureWow

Peek behind the curtain in the atrium lobby of Le Parker Meridien and an awesome rock-and-roll burger spot is waiting for you. The best place to eat a greasy double cheeseburger is a four-star hotel . Read more

Marc Mayer

You really gotta follow your nose to find this awesome hidden spot . Once you're there, rehearse your order in your head. Ordering will be stressful, but well worth not going to the end of the line .

One of New York's best kept secrets. Your burger ? Just call it "The Works", that's the way it should be. So, sit, share your table, make a couple of new friends and enjoy the best burger of your life!

Mustafa Taha Özal

The best burger in the world. If you don't want to wait go weekdays before 8PM.

N Martin

Great burger to go along with a good staff .. the line was a little long on a Saturday evening but the burger was well worth the wait and the brownie was pretty good also

Damian Bayona

A top tourist destination aka expect a long line & crowded space. Regardless, it’s worth the wait. I recommend keeping it simple - cheeseburger with pickles , fries & red wine to wash it down ???? ???? ????????

The Burger Joint has been making this burger since it opened in its first location inside Le Parker Meridien in October, 2002. Approximately 1,200 cheeseburgers with 'the works' are sold each day. Read more

NYC's worst kept secret. Great burgers and awesome atmosphere makes this burger joint (no pun intended) a great place to dine at. Make sure you know your order before you get to the cashier !

Markus Alvermann

Honest burger . Very tasty. Kid friendly (our son got a free ice cream and brownie ). Hard to find, even if you know it's inside the LPM.

A L E X

Get s rare burger with the works. Couple it with fries . Sit outside over to the right of the hotel in a park area. So worth it! One of the best burgers you can get in NYC.

Max Hrabrov

Good burgers , but it's the funky atmosphere that you NEED to come here for! From the docor, to the music , to the way they serve the actual food, it's definitely worth a visit!!!

Alex Hennessey

This is the greatest burger in NYC , hands down. A burger of SUBSTANCE with no frills. Order it with the works. Fries are tasty too but not mind-blowing.

"After trying out 5 Guys burger , I have to say that The Burger Joint behind the curtain at the Le Parker Meridien hotel still has the best burger in history." - Chef Andrew Richardson Read more

Simple and one of the best burger in town . Juicy and flavorful, you can easily get 2 of them !!! The chocolate milk shake and the French fries won't disappoint you as well !!!

Ray Lopes

The burger tastes delicious: the fat patty, the melting cheese , the crispy bacon . The restaurant decor is really cool. But overpriced: small burger , little avaliable sitting and too stressed staff ...

Cecilia Leal

We walked for every where in the Le Meridien we were desesperated, and finally we sow a little burger , I can't believed that inside the Le Meridien exist this kind of restaurant , I love this burghers!

Victoria Mazzuki

One of the best burgers in NYC ! It's an amazing experience to find a little hole in the wall shop in a luxury hotel .

Mary Tere R A

Really good, vanilla shake is great, double hamburgers are hard to eat but totally worth it, one order of fries for two is enough.

David Zhang

Hidden behind the velvet curtain at le Parker Meridien. Go for a good classic burger , and the great music and ambiance.

Tom Burns

Hands down the best burger to be had in Manhattan! Entrance is tucked away at the end of the hotel reception desk behind a curtain .,

Dov Cohn

Totally hidden in the lobby of the hotel . It’s crowded but the line moves fast. if the line is still inside the shop, a table will clear by the time your order is ready.

William H

Pro-tip: Have your friend grab the first table that opens up, doesn't matter if you're still waiting on the line . Fries are overrated, burgers are as good as you'd hope, shakes are top-notch.

MA

Great burger place , so good! The double cheeseburger was huge, i couldn't finish it all and an order of fries would fit for 2 ppl its a lot too!

Shaun Simpson

Visiting from Cape Town and loved this place, unpretentious, well priced and delicious. Will be back for more. Just don’t think you misheard when the doorman says ‘behind the curtain ’.

Will Harahan

They take credit cards now—but bring cash to tip—and the burger is still one of the best in the city . Order a cheeseburger with the works and sweet potato fries .

Felipe Minella

This hidden funky old school joint will surprise you! Indeed one of the best burgers in New York. And if you're really hungry, ask for the double cheeseburger with the works.

Adrià

One of the best burguers I've eaten in a magic place hidden inside a hotel . Entering the lobby, to the left, follow the little hamburguer sign.

Begum Tekin

It's hidden in the lobby of the Le Parker Meridien Hotel . The queue streches out the door, but it is worth the wait. It's legendary :)

debz

hands down the best burger i've had in nyc. hidden to the left once you pass the front desk. line 's long but it moves quickly. have someone in your party snag a table while you wait to order.

Liza

Follow the neon sign into this little perfect corner. Great old school ambience, music , prices, and, of course, the hamburger .... mmmmm Recommended! (I'm no Bourdain but who cares? lol)

Camp Broadway

A great stop if you're looking for authentic , cheap eats near Carnegie Hall. Don't be intimidated by the fact that it's tucked away in the Parker Meridian. A low-key burger joint once you arrive!

Van Andrade

Best burger of my life. Perfect. This place makes a simple and perfect burger . You won't find a taste like these.

Kevin O'Neill

If the lineup isn't too long then jump on in. Otherwise make your way down to shake shack for an even better burger . Ps. Don't forget the milkshake !

David Nolan

Stumbled onto this place via 4Sq and almost bailed when we saw the line . Glad we didn't as it was worth the 30 min wait! It's now my number one burger place worldwide. Delicious!

Onur Avcı

The best Burger you can eat in NYC in this old school burger shack hidden in the lobby of the Parker Meridien. The Entrance is almost secret :)

One of my favorite spots in NYC. Seating is hard to come by, so be patient, be nice, and enjoy the community of folks who love the burgers and fries as much as you do! It's really great!

99U

Tucked away in the Parker Meridien’s lobby, this is the go-to spot for a burger after you hit up MoMA. To enter, look for the neon burger sign. Sun-Thur: 11am-11:30pm | Fri-Sat: 11am-Midnight

PureWow

But this local spot turns out a near-identical version of McDonalds—salty, uniformly golden and served in a brown paper bag—that rivals the original (alongside a way better burger , we might add). Read more
