The EOL for Tokaido Shinkansen . If you’re departing, come early and do that quick refreshments grab before that long ride southbound. The station is quite big and packed almost every day

Platform the Shinkansen Bullet train from Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka Vice viersa, please come early becauusw they always have very sharp schedule and never late #TravelingTokyo

There has Starbucks near south Shinkansen gate.

The Shinkansen area of the station has it's own shops, food outlets and coffee places once past through the ticket gates, which can be less busy and chaotic than the rest of the railway station.

If you want to sit and eat something before getting on the train do it before you enter the Shinkansen area . After that it's just a snack and bento box shop in the waiting area

If you're travelling south, try getting a window seat on the right side of the train to see views of Mount Fuji.

If you’re going to Osaka from Tokyo, reserve the D window seat to see Mt. Fuji!

There are many lunch box stations, u can make a good choice for ur lunch .

The Tokaido Shinkansen (Toki 317) nice and clean super express train for Nagaoka and Niigata

Small tar away shops are there.. but limited for vegetarian..prepare a takeaway before you enter the Japanese bullet trains area

Stations are great.

駅を出たあと、江東区方面に向かう場合は、東京メトロ東西線がメイン ですが、荷物が大きくて移動が大変な場合は都バスもオススメ。 門前仲町 方面なら、16号車 付近から降りられる日本橋口から出て、呉服橋 バス停 から「東20」「東22」に乗る方法もあります。座りたい方は始発の 東京駅丸の内口の バスターミナル から。

在来線から乗り換える時、1-8号車 へ行くの に便利な南乗り換え口にはスターバックスがある。北乗り換え口にはない。あとは日本橋口の そば (八重洲出口の ところで改札の 外)にある

年末年始など改札内きっぷ売り場が並んでる時は、改札の 外の 方がスムーズ です。　改札を抜けられるきっぷの 場合、迷わずそうしましょう。

休日の 岡山、博多行きは激混みなので、新大阪までの 人は新大阪行きの 列車 に選んで乗ると適度 に空いてて快適 です。

地下鉄 東西線への 乗り換えは16号車 側の 日本橋口が便利♪ 人も少ないのでスムーズ に乗り換え出来ます。

東京駅の 中でJR東海が管轄するの が東海道新幹線になる。新幹線改札内は待合室自体はそれなりにあるがやはり繁忙期は座るどころか中に入るの も難しい程混雑する上、いわゆる駅ナカ店舗も然程ない。注意を。

いつも混んでます、新幹線特急券くらいはネット予約 で買いましょう

京都まで最短2時間7分となりました。

ザ始発&終着駅。ビジネス利用でも旅情を感じます。

ホームにスジャータアイスクリームの 自販機あった。現金不可。

16号車 から半蔵門線へは三越前駅へ行くの が最速です。

八重洲南口から出るとすぐにバスターミナル 。

エキスプレスカード受け取りは八重洲口で。丸の内口には無かった。

初めてスマートEX(スマホから新幹線の 切符を予約できるアプリ)を使用して乗車しました。改札を通過する方法が分からず、スマートEX券売機前の スタッフ さんにお伺いしたところ、途端に解決してくださいました。(原因はスマートEXアプリ内に設定しているSuicaIDが自分が使用しているものと違ったため) 年末なので混んでいましたが、新幹線も座れたので良かったです
