Never shop in the evening. No customer service whatsoever. No stock on common summer items either.

Avoid B&Q for small accessories like screws. Go to poundland or even Ikea and save big time!

Contrary to what people say, the staff is always helpful, looking for an item or expert advice. They are selling Christmas trees and decoration in store at the moment.

Go early. There seems to be only two members of staff the closer it gets to closing.

Make friends with a OAP and get 10% on a Wednesday
