Over 5000 T-Shirts were left at the tribute since 9/11/01. NYNY maintains the tribute while UNLV has taken in the collection for historical purposes. The shirts are rotated every six months.
One of my favorite monuments . Make sure to ride the roller coaster while at New York New York as well
If you like the 9/11 Tribute out front of the statue , head inside NYNY to Nine Fine Irishmen and see all the patches that have been assembled at the second floor bar . Fire, police , & military patches.
