It was really great visiting this Historical Restaurant , where Dr. Martin Luther King often visited and eaten there, the food was great. Had fried chicken , yams & black eyed peas .
Paschal's took care of our large party this evening with ease. Food was excellent, service was attentive & everything ran very smooth for our party of 25+.
Try menu favorites from the original location like country ham steak , southern-style sides and center-cut country fried steak , along w/new items like blackened catfish , bacon-wrapped trout and pastas .
Been to Paschal three times when I and my family visited Atalanta. Great service, food, and ambience. Really like the civil rights photos on the wall.
The bread pudding was mouth watering delicious ???? ....Love the decor!
Gorgeous interior, though I was hoping for more of a mom&pop feel for soul food . Fried chicken with sides of cheddar and cornbread dressing were good, but not amazing.
The fried chicken , Mac & cheese & greens.
Food was good, however on the night that I was here the wait to be seated and served was inordinate. Even w/ large parties on a Saturday - wholly unacceptable. Server was terrific in spite of it all.
Our waitress was Africa and she was great. Ask to sit in her section when you come. She'll make sure your experience is a great one. ;)
The catfish fingers were great! We had the shrimp poboy and 1947 chicken . Good stuff ????????
Renee J. Ross, BlogHer.com Health Ed & blogger at Cutie Booty Cakes says, “Paschal’s is an Atlanta tradition. The food is great, & you can see Atlanta’s movers & shakers getting their soul food fix!”
I don't even LIKE fried green tomatoes , but damn! We ordered just about every appetizer on their menu for a large table to share and we weren't disappointed with anything.
Upscale atmosphere, down home cooking , and great service. Great combination! Try the fried chicken .
Known for its exceptional Southern Cuisine , upscale atmosphere, and a retro style that gives customers the perfect southern hospitality experience. Treat yourself!
A place with great food, great decor, cool pictures of the civil rights movement, and interesting history! Ask your server!
The fried chicken was amazing however, customer service was less than favorable.
Went last night. Enjoyed the service And the atmosphere. Great place. Plan to join them for lunch .
This place served as a political center for African American activists. The owners claim that Dr. MLK Jr.’s favorite item on the menu was vegetable soup .
Great atmosphere and typical soul food . Small portions.
If its not past 7:00 pm , go north 1/4 mile and make a left on MLK. See Busy Bee 1/2 mile on left. If its past 7:00pm. Dunno what to tell ya.
They have the best homestyle Mac n Cheese outside of your grandma!
Wow. The food here, especially the fried chicken is incredible.
Catfish and Grits is always a solid bet. Shrimp and grits too
I visited this location on 1/20/18 and was very disappointed in the customer service. The female that worked the bar was rude and non accommodating. The wating was clearly over and hour.
Explain to your people if you at work do what you are paid to do. Most the workers were busy talking to their friends. This was my first visit and wasn't impressed.
The catfish and fried chicken is great!
On Sundays, the restaurant is closed after brunch between 4pm and 5pm
The All you can eat buffet on Sunday is wonderful!!
Full menu forget what southern cooking was like !!!!!!!
From fried chicken to gumbo , this is Southern cooking at its best.
Great fried chicken and mac n cheese .
Num NUM!! Everything was good! My cheat day was not wasted :-)
Go straight to the bar and ask for Paul... You won't regret it!!!
The greens are the only side cooked with meat (ham hock ) but don't look for it on your plate. #oldschool
If you aren't happy with something... your server will be happy to take it back for you but tell them what was wrong
Southern Comfort
Definitely try the fried chicken !
Chicken and Mac is the best
Customer service could be a little better. Food is good.
Service is slow and need to have 2 or 3 pans of fried chicken and more variety for brunch .
Excellent food and excellent service!
Down home cooking , upscale resturant
Looks great tastes great.
Cool spot...Cool for food and Cool man cause it is hot outside and their air blows cold
Mac & cheese & baked chicken was pretty good.
Fried chicken cuisine special is da bomb!
Great Cat Fish and Service
One hour and a half later our dinner showed up! The bread was the best part! Horrible! Would be ashamed to say I work here! Embarrassment to the food industry!!
Leave LOTs of extra time for the extra horrible service. Sat for 45 mins Got my order in but still waiting for food after 1h 15m. This is simply terrible! Avoid altogether.
I love they fish too!
An Atlanta institution. Definitely enjoyed the fried chicken, mac and cheese, and green beans. If you go during lunch, get there early or go later. - Gregory Cox
Loved everything from the Ceasar Salad with fried grit croutons to the pulled o - Sher Kessey
The Crispy Calamari is scrumptiously delicious and fried crispy to my liking!!! Two Thumbs Up!!! - Vincent Coakley Jr.
