This is currently the best place in Amsterdam to enjoy your Sunday afternoon with a microbrew. Excellent selection of beers and an out of the way location that repels the crowds.

Hip as fuck and located on a quiet street full of auto repair shops. The beers are great and the atmosphere feels like a hipster butchery.

It's called Butcher's Tears because all the 3 owners are vegetarians and they will never serve meat here. Otherwise it's one of the best hidden gems of Amsterdam. For the best beer for you just ask

Butcher’s Tears is a small independent brewery specialising in hand-crafted beers that is based on a canal side on the outskirts of the city.

Één van de best bewaarde brouwerijen/geheimen van Amsterdam. Staff is erg vriendelijk!
