Originally the site of a 12th century Templar church , now presided over by the 16th century Temple Church ruins and leaning tower, bombed in the 1941 Blitz. Great place for lunch , a picnic , etc.
Small and quite good for relaxing
Check out the damson trees here in early September. Lots of fruit to be picked up from the ground - not picked.
Quiet inner city enclave, great for lunch , snoozing, reading in the sun.

Bombed in the 1941 Blitz but the tower, leaning well out of true by about 1.7m since it was built in the 17th century, is still standing. On site of the original 12th century Knights Templar church. - Colin Mercer
