An expansive museum in an old penitentiary. The exhibits are quite tired, but maybe good for small kids. Like everything in San Jose, old and dirty. - Damon Sununtnasuk
Nice space with interesting modern art. Only two rooms open when I went but they let us in free. Small gift shop as well. Building inside is awesome if you look up. - Josh A
Very nice new and modern museum. Learn about early Costa Rican civilization. Lots of jade items and pottery. Five floors but doesn't take a ton of time. - Josh A
