Omg expensive ! Buy your fresh stuff in China Town and juice , milk , cereal, crackers etc from Shoppers on Queens Quay (look for weekly sales, buy in bulk) Buy milk from Rabba or Shoppers for $2 less!
Their meats selection is very fresh! Plus sometimes their ice cream deals are ????????
Not true, not open 24 hours . Store is open until midnight daily. Also has convenient wine store open until 9 mon - wed, and 10 thurs - sat.
Yes, it's expensive , but it has a huge selection of fresh ingredients and prepared food.
Surprise - downtown convenience costs more. Idiots. I save thousands per year not having to own a vehicle and I am going to WORRY about paying a few extra pennies for produce? Bite me.
Sobeys is one of the sponsors of the @EarthDayCanada Gala on June 6th at The Drake Hotel . Like food, entertainment and fun? You'll have a blast! Get your tickets here: http://bit.ly/KSVhVK
Expensive but savings come from not having to drive to get groceries assuming you live in the area. Their fresh fish section is great too
Check out the clearance bakery items in the back corner. Half price deals on soon expiring goods are great to buy for same/next day eating!
Nice little market , with a pretty solid selection.
Signs with deals like "2/$7" or "3/$5" don't always imply you need to buy more than 1 for the discount , it's just a tactic to make you buy more
Big store Big prices! ????
Visit the Nutella café !
Try not to be put off when things are 50 to 150 % more expensive than No Frills. Adapt your recipes when they don't have things that you need.
Most of the times their #flowers are in 'ok' condition
Don't forget to check expiry dates on everything you buy here!
These prices suck but you can't beat it for convenience.
This has to be one of the worst managed Sobeys. Never shopping baskets or trolleys at the door, fresh produce is often rotting, and cashiers are likely to just walk away from their tills. AVOID.
Lotta expired food on the shelves here, so beware
You can buy wine here too.
Home of the rip off!
They noted they closed at Midnight, we arrived at 11:50 and they refused to let us in to make a quick purchase of ICE CREAM . Apparently they're 10 minutes ahead of everyone else. Terrible.
This store never has a enough registers open. It takes me 4 mins to get downstairs to wait 15 mins in line thats not convenience. Please hire more cashiers .
Tried to buy breakfast - they claimed to be "out of eggs ". Wifi rarely works & expensive .
Save money by shopping at No Frills.
This is the most expensive , ridiculous store I've ever seen. Also often out of basic things; french bread , shrimp , green onion , etc. Once saw a 5c "sale." No joke. 5c!
They keep closing due to computer problems...maybe they need new ones :$
Coffee here tastes like water.
Mohammed is a great cashier
Saw Brett Lawrie here last night
open 24 hrs.
I agree this place is over priced and always out of everyday stock... Little annoying. Plus the deli counter doesn't understand shaved cold cuts grrr
Avoid @ 7:ish, it's crazy busy with all the residents buying afterwork dinner .
get bacon ... always
Free WiFi
