I have been eating here for.about 45 years and I just visited Charlotte and had the trout ...I have eaten trout all over the world, but nothing comes close to the trout and tartar sauce at South 21!

Had the trout filet, and have to say I was impressed. Went against diners, drive ins and dives to order the Wednesday/Friday special. Get this and you won't be disappointed. Quick service too!
This place was built in 1955. My parents used to go cruising here in the '50's. The onion rings are best in the world!

The steak sandwich is so good!! So is the trout . Got the best tarter sauce and house dressing . Yum:)

Ugh…not sure how I feel about this venue. It was a great show, and there isn’t a bad seat in the house! However, the place was sold out, and they didn’t open all the food options. Super dirty, too. - Brenton Marcom
