The Teriyaki steak was awesome. I tried my friends Seaweed salad & was pleasantly surprised as to how flavorful that was. I will return. The owner made an egg roll with fried eel & that too was great!
Chicken katsu was very authentic and with the right sauce, good sake menu, better than average draft beer selection (of Japanese beers )
The sushi here is very authentic , as is the atmosphere, and I love that. But it's also expensive , and I've never seen them offer many specials.
FOR two: 1 Mary Roll, 1 Sweet Dragon Roll , and the Katsudon ! You're welcome! :)
I love that they have real home style Japanese food . Be adventurous and try something more than just sushi !
Very high quality. They really don't skimp on the fish . Pictured is the Waraji roll and Spiral Ecstasy .
Awesome Japanese meals and great sushi . A long trip for us (30+ minutes), but well worth it. One of our favorites.
Shamoo roll has a little bit of everything if you can’t decide. Also ask for fresh cut wasabi is available if you like it hot.
Sushi is amazing!!! Nice place and the chefs really take the time to get to know you. Try the nigiri
The sushi is fresh and delicious. For appetizers try the miso soup and seaweed salad .
No doubt - the best sushi I have had in a long time. I was there when Waraji opened and have been going ever since. It is the best place in the Triangle, or North Carolina for that fact!
Order the dinner deal and share it by adding a few single sushi rolls ... you'll save yourself some extra $$. The "meals" are expensive but it's A LOT of food!
Delicious negimaki (scallions rolled in grilled beef ). Also try the volunteer roll. ????
Sit at the sushi bar and the chef will make you his own delicious concoction ..beware of Scary Jerry 10+
Come for lunch , sit at the sushi bar , allow the chef to create what s/he thinks you'll like ... and talk to Sandy.
Get the nabeyaki udon ! It's one of the best in the Triangle. The stock is made in house and incredibly rich. ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
Hinataaaaaa. May be the best sushi roll I've ever had.
Make the dragon roll a fire dragon roll for an extra kick of spice!
Really enjoyed the plum squid maki - nice sour taste and good texture
Highly recommended, try the tatami and sea urchin ☺️
Best fresh sushi anywhere! Great for lunch .
Get a reservation as they often fill up quickly and the wait can be over an hour.
The Shamu roll is awesome! Everything here is sooo good.
Beef sushi is just amazing
Great way to get introduced to Sushi - take the deluxe platter.
The eggroll is great. I dont know alot about sushi but the few times i have had it this was the best
Waraji has several items on the menu that are unique and food is excellent
The Suzuki 500 is Excellent! -Especially if you're wary of the uncooked items.
Try the sliced beef sirloin appetizer with ponzu sauce .
Spider ecstasy is excellent here says my Japanese mother in law. Elsewhere known as rainbow roll .
Probably the highest quality fish I've ever had!
Best sushi in Raleigh
Love this place. Best sushi in town
That's not nice to say about haru. I've had nothing but good experiences. I guess I'm not the expert this chick is, but judge for yourself.
Best sushi in Raleigh
Try the Masa Eggroll or age nasu for something different and delicious.
Sweet dragon roll
Authentic Place
I stopped for an order of sushi to go for my wife. When I heard what they were going to charge me. I left.
The sushi !

Great sushi !
House salad is really good
Sorry, buddy, but Haru is slightly better than dog food. Not even in the same class as Waraji. Stop embarrassing yourself by writing tips.
Scary Jerry & Spiral Ecstasy ....Yum!
Closed for lunch on Saturdays
The best sushi in Raleigh !
Masa's eggroll isn't available Sundays because Masa doesn't work Sundays.
