Georgian cuisine . The cheeseboat is like an open-faced calzone : cheese , butter and egg on bread . It is phenomenal, and filling. I split one with someone as a lunch appetizer and it filled us both.
Cheeseboat is a must! You could share one with a side for 2 people, or as a sharing option alongside entrees for a bigger group. Add in the truffle butter , it's so decadent! Take away box if you need!
When you want to indulge, this is the spot. Authentic Georgian spot serving cheeseboats, described as a "cauldron of cheese ". Vegetarian options . Skip the veggie sides, try the "pizza " with mint .
The staff was really nice and the menu was surprisingly accessible. The boat was delicious but it felt like it was missing something. Great atmosphere for groups though!
Get the khinkali (soup dumplings ). We had to get 2 orders, they were so good. Steaming hot and fresh, with just the right amount of soup to slurp up
Cheeseboats, khinkali dumplings and Georgian wine - that is the minimum you need to experience Georgian cuisine .
One cheeseboard is DEFINITELY enough to split. Get one, a salad , and some dumplings and you'll be golden and filled with ooey goodness.
I had the bacon cheeseboat to start and it was pretty amazing (and filling)!
Original cheeseboat is like ordering a pizza topped with an egg and butter... mmm. Sink the boat!
Cheese on almost everything!! Indulge yourself in a classic cheeseboat with egg
Saperavi is an earthy, dry red wine . Very drinkable. Tough to come by so many Georgian wines , both white and red!
It took them 40 minutes to get the wine out. While inquiring if our wine was coming at all, a lady in glasses, and yelled that the restaurant is running out of dishes and glasses
Quality is ok but there are many different better options in the neighborhood for less than half the price
It taste like pure sin it's too darn good stir it up!
Slow service - worst experience. The food was completely average. The cheese Doug pizza thing is terrible.
The kebab was soooo dry and doesn’t taste at all, stuff are not friendly ... very bad ????
Gross. Bland. Shitty bartender .
All perogis are delicious I specifically enjoyed the boiled jalapeño/potatoes option! For those in park slope looking for places to eat outside of 5th ave- do try this place out! - Annette Rubin
Absolutely loved this meal. Service was kind of slow but was a big fan of the chicken liver mousse, dips & chips, mackerel toast, pork & plums, and cheesecake - Kate
awesome for cocktails and light food options - great for oysters or just charcuterie & cheese. this place is kinda hidden away and doesn't get as packed as some of it's neighbors. - RJ Dugan
Don't leave without trying something off their delicious southern cuisine menu. The Catfish sandwich, the fried chicken, the pizzas, the milkshakes...all quality Blue Ribbon food. - Karen Dugan
