TODAY's the opening day of La Esquina in the UES! Excited a decent Mexican taqueria came to our hood & can't wait to try the tacos , tortas & Aguas Frescas !
Great tacos , quesadillas and cheap beers and in summer is very convenient to go to the Jay pool in 78 and york! Quick bite and back to swimming . Their fancy version in Soho is much better!!!

So good! All the ingredients taste fresh. Their chicken taco is my go-to, the chicken is full of flavor. Would also recommend the elote if you're a street corn person. Margaritas are delicious too
Fish tacos , guac and quesadillas all on point - but the show stealer is the corn on the cob. Definitely going back.
Tacos are just ok, they need some homemade salsa and lime . Agua de horchata and jamaica are really good. Definitely Tacomix is better, worth moving those extra blocks up to go there.
Diner feeling spot close to the Q train serving casual Mexican food . Great for take-out. Solid mezcal margaritas and chicken tacos .
