Huge portions and oh so good. I found the pork katsu to be a little thin and bland for my taste, but all the bbq plates I've tried have been excellent. One of my favorite places in Chicago!

Always big portions of food! Get a half order if you're not sharing. The chicken katsu comes with a tasty sauce but ask for the spicy version, it will rock your world.

Vegetarians , you have an excellent option in the tofu katsu ! Great to see a Hawaiian restaurant offer a meatless entree besides fish .

Cashier dude is insanely friendly . Love this place! Plate lunches might be a bit too filling for those with smaller stomachs, so try the mini plates if you need to.

SPAM Loco Moco : the combination of the hot rice , thick egg yolk , and salty SPAM makes for the perfect bite.

Double Mahi Combination Plate is my favorite. It is 2 slices of Grilled Mahi and 2 slices of Lightly Fried Mahi with white rice , white macaronni, and shredded fresh cabbage . BBQ options available too!

Somehow I always end up with ten times more food than I need, but I do enjoy this place. Give Spam a chance! Good macaroni salad too.

Super ʻono! Eating here takes me back to the islands . So glad they are in my hood :) My current fave is the bbq beef .

Im prone to mini chicken katsu all mac salad even though the hamburger steak is good too. Canned Aloha Maid juice is here, but holy crap it's expensive . Check before you order one.

Nothing fancy , but just authentic and welcoming, and owner IS from Hawaii, not a chain or a franchise

Get the BBQ chicken plate - if you like dark meat, you will love this. If not, you can get white meat only for a buck or two more.

This place is so good! Get BBQ chicken dinner plate with a side of curry sauce . So amazing!

Excellent food. Definitely suggest the Spam Musubi and the BBQ Combo Plate is awesome if you're hungier. If all else fails, winner winner, bbq chicken dinner :)

Grilled Spam = heaven. Get some fried eggs with your rice and Spam!

I visited Hawaii a few weeks ago and was pretty much living for spam musubi . They have spam musubi at Aloha Eats. I'm now living for Aloha Eats.

Swap out the chicken katsu sauce for the tofu katsu sauce. And keep in mind that the regular size plate lunches are HUGE.

Kimchi goes really well with the plate lunches !

Double chicken FTW! macaroni salad is so delicious as well .
