The best part of this small-town-city feel is the trees & homes lining the hills . Lots of shade, nice walking & usually warm!

On a clear day you can see Point Loma, Coronado, Tijuana, Downtown, everything!

If you drive up when the sun is setting, u can catch the most amazing sunset of your life from the cross. Unbelievable. Park by the amphitheater .

Back in my day you could park on the side of the road on the way up to the top. No more!

Check out the new 1/4 mile scenic hiking trail - start at the side stairs near water fountain at bottom of amphitheater

Reconnect with your self, bring water, good music or a book . Take in the view for a deserved time out to recharge.

The view on a clear day is amazing.

Park after the private street entrance called Halo for the best view .

Disappointing for sure! Compared with views from Cuyamaca Peak and even Cowles mtn, Mount Helix is nothing.
