Seojangdae, meaning western command post, sits atop Paldalsan, a small hill over which the higher section of Hwaseong runs. Seojangdae was destroyed by a fire in 1996 and was reconstructed afterwards.

I was here for fall festival March/parade. Beautiful grounds and nice easy hikes to hill above. They let you ring the bell at the top to be heard in all the valley. 1000W. Pretty fun n relaxing spot - Gregory K.
