Café Engel

Café Engel is brushing up its service nicely. The breafasts rock. And I like the atmosphere. One of the best places in Helsinki to have a relaxed biz breakfast meeting.

Best breakfast place with fresh croissants , view of Domkyrkan and warm interior

Had an amazing cappuccino here! Also the salmon soup on the weekend is really good (and 8€ only). Staff nice and friendly , more than I expected in Finland ;-)

I liked the breakfast . Hot chocolate was also very good and not too sweet. It's full of tourists without being touristy . Also a place for locals to have an evening tea .

The view of the old Church is breath-taking what ever the season. Great for coffees , teas and a piece of cake .

The cake is amazing. Lemon meringue pie and some form of layered chocolate banana torte . Do it.

Delicious breakfast , open from 8am on weekdays. The inner courtyard transforms into a cute movie theatre for those long summer nights.

Great view towards the Dome Cathedral . Nice service.

Good coffee in the city center

Breakfast plates are great and worth the money, but 3 euros for burnt take-away coffee is rip-off.

Excellent coffee and croissants with strawberry jam , nice place for avid movie goers.

4,40 Euro for one Cappuccino - Helsinki is expensive .

Cute place to stop off by Helsingin Tuomiokirkko for coffee !

Try their voisilmäpulla (sweet butter bun )! It's to die for, real butter makes the magic happen!

Fresh cakes and salads , a bit crowded though.

The new Engel is, if possible, even better than the old one. Waiters have no idea what they're doing though.

Awsome beetroot burger !

Tried their main courses after the renovation & was disappointed. The beetroot dish mayo was average, mayo being THE dominant taste. The spinach pie 's filo dough was wet, not crispy as it should be :/

Used to be absolutely fantastic. Now some brushing up needs to happen with the service level and attitude.

Breakfast was not up to par. Bacon was soggy and there was only 1dl of juice . Staff could also pay more attention.

Un café súper bonito! Todo es súper rico pero lo más recomendable es la sopa de salmón y el pastel de zanahoria .

Se vc gosta de café fraco peça o café normal! Mas não deixe de experimentar uma fatia de torta com creme! E aproveite a vista da Catedral e da praça !

По-прежнему неплохо. Цены умеренные, фрукты пластмассовые. Аншлаг. Китайцы.

Уютное место с видом на Кафедральный собор . Вкусные десерты .
