AS IS: this awesome sections only available in Kowloon bay IKEA, easy to reach, the mall it's in has a shuttle bus to and fro from mtr Kowloon bay
To avoid the crowd during weekend's, it is best to arrive here at opening time (10:30). People start congesting it after 11:30-12, mainly to eat hot dogs and couples love to occupy all the sofa's ...
There are short cut on both floors allow you to reach the end instead of following the loops. Take note of the blue notice plate.
There is a lift in the parking lot next to IKEA that you can drop down to the food level without having to run through the whole store!
To cut to the cash registers instead of walking the whole way around the store, take the side elevator to floor LB
I always visit IKEA when I'm in HK. A lot of good finds and design inspiration for the home. It's conveniently near the causeway bay mtr exit. Hope they open one in Manila soon. :)
New! Chocolate spread that can be put on bread or in milk for chocolate drinks. $33 for a bottle. Get it at the end in the food area outside the cashier .
This IKEA is closed at 22:30, relatively opened until late time. This shore is good for a postprandial walk after eating dinner too much.
IKEA actually has good food! Love the meatball pasta and hotdogs . Also, the unlimited refills are like a god send to me! Unfortunately, it's rather small and the place is crowded . Megabox is better
Swedish meatballs are the bomb! And if you're trying to save some money, IKEA has HKD10 hotdogs with drinks
If you wanna skip the usual tour , there's a lift right on the left before the main entrance on the street. That will bring you straight to the cashier .
Bring your rechargeable batteries, light tubes and bulbs for recycling here
A nightmare on the weekends – too many people who have no interest in purchasing are treating this store like their home, napping on the beds and preventing shoppers from seeing the furniture .
Nice place but too crowded at weekend. Comparing with IKEA Beijing, IKEA HK is much much smaller. The Icecream and hot dog is perfect and worth a try.
This place is incredibly crowded . If you can, rather go to the store in Kowloon Bay , which has more capacity and is generally less frequented.
This place is mostly for newly weds. And before you get in, be sure you're ready to walk a lot since it's like a maze and no turning back. It's one way to get out.
Cheap food and refilled drinks! Beware a lot ppl! Ppl don't shop there but seat & chill on the sofas , with their phones/tablets for hours.
Look out for shortcuts, there is usually an exit sign above a doorway that get through this shopping maze quicker.
Be sure to check out the current catalogue at the info desk to check on what's new. It's also advisable to BYO measuring tape.
Never come here during holidays or weekend. It's like a battle between shoppers & ppl on dates. Ppl line up to buy food like it's free. So crowded that the one item u need isn't worth the struggle.
Great hotdogs and shelving
Lots of maids in IKEA on Sunday. They make themselves very comfortable there.
Avoid coming here on weekends or public holidays AT ALL COSTS! You have been warned... 😳
The background music of kids singing is cute for the first hour, then it becomes tedious. I must imagine that the staff either tunes it out or goes crazy after a while...
CWB not as stocked as other branches. And come early to beat crowds lounging on sample couches .
Do yourself a favor, don’t come here on the weekends because it gets insanely packed
Come here for some quick bites e.g. hot dogs/frozen yogurts
Most furniture to look at EVER. You could spend your whole afternoon here
A visit to Ikea is a way more romantic when u go with ur love. Unfortunately by myself this afternoon... :-(
Always get something good quality stylish n cheap

Meatballs is so good! Yums.
A great place for snacks , hotdog for $6 and meatball for $9!
Come after 9:30pm, not that many people. Starting from Jan25 2013, they extend later store closing time to 11pm
I have to mention it because at one point or another, you will need to visit this store. Just avoid it on the weekends, it is a madhouse.
Come in the morning! Too crowded in the afternoon
Try their salmon croquettes 😊👍
Only $5 for a small pack of popcorn , where to find?
DISAPPOINTED: low in options, confusing, organisation ... I'll rather spend a few more minutes go to IKEA SHATIN
Truly hell on earth. Crowded (avoid on weekends), people napping everywhere, long lines , and nearly nothing in stock. A glorified showroom.
Love and hate relationship with the Dutch flat pack giant
Try veggie pizza
$9 for 5 Swiss Meatballs and $2 Sundae Cone are must try!!!
Cant go to HK without stopping by IKEA
I love coming here. The Bistro rocks!
Private room for feeding/changing baby. Near the customer service desk at the exit. Ask for the key. Even has a cot!
Not sure if it’s busier inside or waiting for food at the cafeteria ?!
