The food and venue are stellar with excellent traditional deli sandwich offerings and Pizza 51 slices and pies. They also have an outstanding (small) craft beer selection .

Your first trip here should consist of a slice of pizza and a Tallgrass beer . You'll thank me later! Lunch during the week is a zoo , but always worth the trip.

If you like Kansas City history, good beers and great food, this is the place to be. The original Milwaukee Delicatessen picture from 1933 hangs on the wall and the whole bar is a reminder of KCs past

Cool place. Good food. The beers are decent if you are new to craft beer . Underwhelming if you seek the best.

Pastrami sandwich is must have - great hint of herbs and maybe pepper . Bread is so fresh too.

The cowtown pizza was very good. The Reuben was decent, not great. Though the beer selection and atmosphere are excellent.
