The crew is fun and the experience, at the market , it is worth the effort! Try the eggs menu with whatever suits your taste (shrimps and foie gras it's highly recommended). Ox tail risotto was amazing

All the menu is amazing! Go for the baby squids with egg , patatas bravas , the mussels are also great and if you have really hungry go for the oxtail . Prepare to wait but Señor Quim don't let you down.

Good food but sure if worth the wait, oxtail risotto is very much a comfort food and the baby squid fried egg is not like anything I’ve had! The croquettes are so-so but the spicy potatoes are musts!

Everything from the sea and above is great at this place! Do not over-order, you can find out you just asked for a lot of food that you won’t be able to eat!

Everything is good here. We had the squid with egg , tortillas , mushroom , prawns , pan fried vegetables , artichoke chips , pork sausage & croquette . Desserts Grandma's homemade cake and cheesecake .

This place is a must in Barcelona. The sangria was delicious and the fried egg & baby squid - wow. But the real winner was the ceviche . Definitely get it!

Delicious, busy, beautiful. The most surprising dish (in the good way) was the sausage with beans. But the foie on a bed of mushrooms is sheer decadence.

Awesome. Friendly staff . Ordered artichoke chips , pedron peppers , grilled asparagus , razor clams(so fresh!) and oxtail (so rich in flavour). Everything was good. Wanna go back for more!

U may have to wait to sit but believe me it worths. Try eggs with baby squid . İt's not served enough large (for 2 person) as they say, but quite tasty. Also an authentic atmosphere.

Very popular. Small place, you eat at the bar and you're lucky if you find some empty seats. No reservation possible. Best tapas I've had. The home made tiramisu is delicious.

we waited a lot for free seat, but at the end we had an amazing lunch . not cheap for a marketplace restaurant , but this traditional taste and cozy ambience deserve that.

You'll probably wait for 30-40 mins just to have a seat, but what they make their is just fabulous!!! Believe you'll enjoy whatever you'll order!!! 1000% recommend!

Great food at the very heart of one of the best food markets I have ever been to. Worth to wait the line for food and atmosphere.

The food is fresh and delicious. Get a seat at the bar and the order the specialty of el quim.. The baby squid with egg ! And don't forget to get some croquette , they are the best I tried in Barcelona!

If you are there for breakfast , 'tortilla de alcachofa' (artichoke omelette ) or if you are more adventurous try the 'huevos fritos con chipirones ' (fried eggs with baby squid )

Believe the hype! Squid with leaks is very tasty! Their garlic prawns and sautéed mushrooms were on point as well . Expensive but worth it.

The croquettes were THE BEST I have had! No joke. I want to come back and try more.

Baby Squid with eggs are good for breakfast . All seafoods are fresh. Service is fast! Staff are friendly .

The best market food ever, obligate place to come in Barcelona!! But please keep in mind to be patience and be able to wait a bit.... But deserve the waiting....

They are open early at 7am. Squid with fried eggs and prawns with fried eggs were amazing.

It took me awhile to find this place, but I found it! Arrived around 8am so plenty of seating. Definitely order the chiparones!

When in La Boqueria, check out El Quim for some tapas and a glass of cava . You´ll get a very classic local experience

Everything is good. Food and service. U will live their seafood with eggs menues. Will come back!!!

We..went with the baby squid and oxtail risotto .. Squid wasn't as salty as we'd like, but overall, both were quite good.

The wild mushrooms cooked in Porto and dressed with balsamic vinegar are absolutely divine! A must-try!!!

It’s cool as it’s in the Boqueria - but they are harried, the seats are uncomfortable, and the food is rushed. Meatballs were cold inside for example....

Baby squid (chipirones ) on crunchy vegetables was spot on. House vino was okay. Duero or Rioja is better.
